Day 1: Amritsar Sightseeing
Today, after breakfast, drive for sightseeing of Jallianwala Bagh, also known asthe Amritsar massacre. In the afternoon, proceed to visit the Golden Temple, the most sacred place of the Sikh Religion. Evening drive to Wagah Border to attend the Beating Retreat ceremony. Day 2: Amritsar – Dharamshala
Distance: 215 Kilometers.
After breakfast, check out from the hotel and drive (4-5 hrs) to Dharamshala. On arrival, check in to the hotel. Evening free to explore the market. Dinner & overnight stay in a hotel.
Day 3: Dharamshala - Local sightseeing - Dalhousie
Distance: 120 Kilometers.
After breakfast, check out from the hotel and drive to local sightseeing, including the official residence of the Dalai Lama in Mcleodganj, St John Church & Bhagsunath Temple, the oldest temple in Dharamshala. Evening drive to Dalhousie. On arrival, check in to the hotel. Dinner and overnight stay.
Day 4: Dalhousie – Khajjiar – Dalhousie
Distance: 23 Kilometers.
Morning drive to Khajjiar, one of the most scenic plateaus known as the mini Switzerland of India, surrounded by dense pine and deodar forests. Small lake with a floating island and a 9-hole golf course here. Enjoy zorbing & paragliding. Return to the hotel. Dinner and overnight stay in Dalhousie.
Day 5: Dalhousie – Amritsar
Distance: 190 Kilometers.
Morning after breakfast, check out from the hotel and drive to Amritsar as desired by cab or Tempo Traveller on hire. Evening reach Amritsar and drop off at the airport or railway station as desired.
